NetSuite BigCommerce Integration

Orders, catalog, inventory, fulfillment, and B2B pricing flowing between BigCommerce and NetSuite, for brands that sell to consumers, to businesses, or both.

One Catalog, Every Storefront

BigCommerce is chosen by mid-market brands for its multi-storefront and B2B capabilities, which is exactly what makes the NetSuite integration matter. A brand running a consumer store, a wholesale portal with customer-specific pricing, and a marketplace channel cannot maintain three catalogs by hand. With NetSuite as the item master and system of record, BigCommerce becomes the storefront layer: products and prices come from NetSuite, orders and customers go back, inventory reflects what is actually available, and finance reconciles payouts without a spreadsheet.

Three Ways to Connect BigCommerce and NetSuite

NetSuite Connector. Oracle’s own connector supports BigCommerce with the standard order, customer, product, inventory, and fulfillment flows. The lowest-friction option for a single storefront with conventional processes.

Celigo. A prebuilt BigCommerce integration with deeper coverage: multi-storefront, customer groups and price lists, refunds, and flows that extend when the business does something the standard ones do not. The usual choice for B2B and multi-storefront brands, and for anyone also connecting Amazon, a 3PL, or a marketplace to the same NetSuite account.

Custom build. Directly on BigCommerce’s and NetSuite’s APIs. Full control and ownership, no subscription, at the cost of building and maintaining it. It fits when B2B pricing logic or catalog structure is unusual enough that a connector would need heavy customization anyway.

Consule works with all three and recommends based on storefront count, B2B requirements, order volume, and who will own the integration after go-live.

Where BigCommerce Integrations Go Wrong

Pricing with two owners. When wholesale prices are edited in both BigCommerce and NetSuite, they diverge within weeks. NetSuite owns pricing; the integration pushes it. That rule is agreed before build.

Options that are not variants. BigCommerce product options and modifiers do not always map to NetSuite matrix items. The catalog structure is designed, not assumed.

SKUs that almost match. The universal integration failure. Consule audits the item catalog before anything is connected.

How Consule Runs a BigCommerce Integration

1. Discovery and mapping

Every flow, field by field, in a mapping document your team signs off: how orders post per storefront, how customer groups map to price levels, how options and variants map to items, which locations feed each storefront, and how payouts are accounted for.

2. Build and configure

Connector configured or scripts written to the mapping, in a sandbox, with error handling and alerting so a failed record is visible within minutes rather than at month-end.

3. Test with real data

Live-shaped cases: a consumer order, a B2B order on terms at a customer-specific price, a multi-storefront inventory update, a partial refund, and a real payout. Finance signs off before go-live.

4. Go live and support

Cutover timed around your business cycle, hypercare for the first week, and ongoing monitoring and change requests under the Consule CARE program.

Selling B2B and B2C on BigCommerce from a plant or a warehouse?

Consule’s clients are manufacturers and distributors, which is where BigCommerce’s B2B strengths and NetSuite’s pricing, terms, and allocation logic meet. Storefront stock has to respect wholesale commitments, and the same NetSuite account often runs BigCommerce, Amazon, EDI customers, and a 3PL. We design the BigCommerce flow as one part of that picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does NetSuite integrate with BigCommerce natively?

Not out of the box. Oracle’s NetSuite Connector supports BigCommerce with prebuilt flows, Celigo offers a deeper integration app, and custom builds are possible. All need mapping and configuration.

Can BigCommerce B2B pricing come from NetSuite?

Yes. NetSuite price levels and customer-specific pricing map to BigCommerce customer groups and price lists, so wholesale customers see their negotiated prices on the portal and orders post at those prices.

How are multiple storefronts handled?

Each storefront maps to its own channel in NetSuite, with its own inventory feed, and can post to different subsidiaries under OneWorld. Celigo and custom builds support this; the NetSuite Connector is best for single storefronts.

How long does a BigCommerce NetSuite integration take?

A single storefront on standard flows with a clean catalog is typically live in four to eight weeks. B2B pricing, multiple storefronts, or a 3PL add time. Consule scopes it after discovery.
